In April, I hit 150k miles on my 2014 Silverado 5.3liter. I needed to have the 6l80 transmission replaced, for known manufacturer failure issues. A work friend recommended I talk to Garz&Sons. I called a month in advance and spoke to Joseph about my issues. He said bring it in, so I had it towed to his shop on a Tuesday and by Friday afternoon had my Truck back, with a new GM Transmission. The truck is back to working perfectly again. Smooth powerful shifts from the new transmission. The whole process was extremely straight forward and he gave me priority service to get my truck back to me. Thanks Joseph. Already put 1,700 miles on the new Trans. Joseph has been my “Go-To” mechanic for 3+ years, and I’ve seen his business grow and expand from a single bay, to his full service location in Kyle. He’s done an engine swap in my son 1977 Chevy K-10, a Wilwood Kit in my 77 Trans Am, he completely rebuilt the chassis on my Father’s 1997 Ram Cummins 12 valve, and did a badass paint job on it. There was also a Cam-Swap, Headers, & Tune on my daily driver Ram 1500, plus brakes and all regular maintenance on my daily driver.
